چکیده
Understanding the change in hydrological response due to urban dynamics is important for better flood preparedness and future sustainable planning. This study investigated influence of land cover on spatiotemporal changes peak discharge volume within a rapidly urbanizing catchment located Beijing, China. We used Landsat satellite data ranging from 1986 2017 monitor quantify growth. Moreover, Hydrological Modeling System (HEC-HMS) coupled with meteorological was utilized examine impact growth responses. The results revealed that major use/cover (LULC) were detected landscape, which increased 25.22% 65.48% total area, while agricultural decreased 64.85% 25.28% during 1986–2017. average three rainstorms events reached 7.02% 11.93%, respectively. Furthermore, more obvious at sub-catchment scale. These findings indicate enhanced possible flooding risk catchment. improves understanding isolated impacts urbanization provides essential information

Due to the increase of changes in the land uses mainly resulting from humaninterferences, monitoring the changes and evaluating their trend and environmental effectsfor future planning and management are essential. In the present study, an attempt is madeto observe the changes which had occurred in Ardestan area during a period of 30 yearsusing some satellite images. Different kinds of data for...
متن کاملThe Impact of Land Use/Land Cover Changes on Groundwater Resources Using Remote Sensing & GIS (Case Study: Khan-Mirza Plain)
Hydrological status and water table fluctuations are directly related to land use and/or land cover (LULC) changes in each area. In this research, the impact of LULC changes on groundwater quantity and quality of Khan-Mirza Plain, in the northern Karun watersheds, was investigated. For this purpose, Landsat 5, 7 and 8 satellite images and ETM and OLI sensors were employed to prepare the L...

Remote sensing indices are used to analyze the Spatio-temporal distribution of drought conditions and to identify the severity of drought. This study, using various drought indices generated from Madis and TRMM satellite data extracted from Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. Drought conditions in Marivan city from February to November for the years 2001 to 2017 were analyzed based on spatial a...
